What's your style?

If someone asked you what your style was, what would you say?

I consider my style to be expressive and trend setting. I don’t care to match perfectly or wear what I’ve seen on another person. I wear what makes me feel good and usually that’s something others are afraid to try. I often hear "You can pull that off but I can't" or "That's more your style than mine". To that I say, the only reason you believe in my style is because I do.

I try my best to explain that style is about being your genuine self and to not limit your wardrobe based on how you think you deserve to dress.

You cannot be afraid to share yourself through your clothes! The world has enough problems, don’t let your outfit be one!

I can attribute much of my fashion success to my confidence and comfortability in everything I wear. We feel our best when we are comfortable. No matter what I have on, it works for me physically as well as emotionally and I feel as if I can own any room I step into.

If you carry yourself as if you are THAT ONE, no one will ever tell you that you aren't.

Now, I get it, most of us aren't comfortable in heels and skirts all the time. But just because you are running to the store or are in between hair appointments, doesn't mean you have to look like you just rolled out of bed.

It means we need to get you the right attire for the occasion. Making an effort to build the casual side of your wardrobe is key. I'm not just talking jeans and tops, I mean we need some stylish track suits and sweats for when it's really a quick store run. The more thought out looks you have for even the smallest of life's moments will change how you feel about getting dressed.

Finding your personal style for any occasion comes with time and being open to trying new things. As long as your looks fit (sizing), are age appropriate, and you are confident, you'll be fine. I’m here to help us all navigate the fashion world so we can be comfortable yet stylish every day!
