How far would you go for the look?

Let me tell you about how this top and I almost didn’t make it!

I was casually shopping one day at @Zara during their sale and found this gem. I ran to the fitting room to try it on. I got it over my head and baby, that’s where it stopped. I spent the next 15 mins flipping between checking the tag size, looking at my body in the mirror, and again forcing the top over my head trying to make it add up.

Eventually, a sales associate who was making her fitting room rounds got to my curtain. When she asked if I was alright, I flung the curtain back with my head and one arm in the top and the other just flailing about.

I’ll never forget the look on her face. At first she was shocked with my struggle but then she put her game face on, looked at me and said, “Oh, this top is too cute. We’re getting you in this, come on!”. When I say we shimmied, stretched, and pinched this thing, which was made out of ORGANZA fabric, down over my torso. WE DID THAT! We were so happy once I got it on that we hugged each other!

That moment was a first for both of us but we made it through and I really appreciated her for putting in the time to assist me that day. Gotta love Zara! Oh, and if you’re wondering how I got out of it... that’ll have to be a story for another day!
